The Jerusalem Bible (JB or TJB) is an English-language translation of the Bible which was first introduced to the English-speaking public in 1966 and published by Darton, Longman & Todd. As a Roman Catholic Bible, it includes the deuterocanonical books along with the sixty-six others included in Protestant Bibles. It also contains copious footnotes and introductions.
Excerpts from the Jerusalem Bible are used in the Lectionary for Mass that was approved by the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales and that is used in most of the English-speaking world. Other translations have also been approved for use in the Liturgy by the English and Welsh bishops.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Jude, Revelation.

Please note this is NOT the 1966 Jerusalem translation but the New Jerusalem 1985 English version. It may be just a title oversight since this is a newly released app. To their credit this publisher offers great apps well worth having and only small non- interfering commercials. Check the others: there is already a NJB with audio as well.
would be nice if you could add the introductions and notes found in the 1985 print edition of the new jerusalem bible by henry wansbrough.
Travis Hopper I have one of the original hard back copies of this translation ; since 1990 ; and have used it many times ever year ; this down load is not the original ; by comparing what is written in my hard copy to this down load and there is absolutely nothing that compares at all ; also most of the time I use my hard copy for the comparative verses listed in the margins ; as Paul told us that one verse is not an interpretation of it self ; those are not there ; and I use the foot notes for further help and they are not there as well ! I can not give this any stars as these APP PUBLISHERS ARE SCAMMERS ON THIS APP ! I have not checked out the other download from them : everyone please contact APPLE COPS AND REPORT !!!!!!!!!
